Acrylic on paper – paintings by Christina Bonnett
These Prints are available as a set of four separate prints enabling a large discount. The prints will be printed to order.
The originals are individual paintings, where the subject matter and angle are the same, but the dominant colours and treatment vary, rather than different colourways if the same painting.
They can be framed in one large frame mounted in four windows, or framed separately and displayed together. They look good either in a row or 2 x 2.
This is predominately in shades of blue, with splashes of muted purples, brick and rusty red. The painting is one of a series of adventures in colour and texture – four variations are produced as prints and can be bought as a set.
I chose this simple pose to give scope to explore light and shade, as well as colour. I wanted to see how the colour would affect the reaction to the naked body and whether the subject matter would take second place. I was playing with the acylic paint too, getting a feel for the medium.
The pictures show the back upper torso and hips. Part of the buttocks is shown and the back is in a stretching pose.
The originals were painted on paper within a pre-drawn rough square to avoid distraction and keep the general shapes the same.
Each of these is a high quality Giclée Print on Archival paper. They can also be bought individually, at the normal price.
Large is £65 each. Small is £25 each. So the saving if you want the set is 23%
