Acrylic on board – painting by Christina Bonnett
Often found at the border of the fields where sheep graze, sorrel gives a brick red diffusssed glow in the autumn.
It is edible as a savoury seasoning and was a favorite of Henry VII.
Pepper took its place once it became available.
This is available as a high quality Giclée Print on Archival paper.
The picture is supplied mounted and ready to frame.
